With the themes of Mirror, Melting, and Mission, we invite you to reflect on your relationship, melt away barriers, and embrace your unique mission as a couple. Join us for a time of renewal, growth, and deepening your faith together.
Cost: $1,400 per couple this includes accommodations, meals, presenters, activities and miscellaneous items.
We are delighted to announce a three-day, two-night marriage intensive titled "Mirror, Melting, and Mission: A Faith Forward Marriage Intensive." This intensive is not just an ordinary event, but a transformative experience aimed at enriching and deepening marriages through the lens of faith and the principles of the Gottman Method, a renowned couples therapy approach. Marriage is a divine union created by God, a sacred reflection of Christ's relationship with His Church. This intensive has been thoughtfully designed to offer couples a faith-centered environment where they can explore the intricacies of their relationship and discover new dimensions of God's love in their marriages.

SPEAKERS
Dr. Cyrus R. Williams III
Dr. Cyrus R. Williams III has a Ph.D. in Counselor Education and Supervision and an Education Specialist Degree in Higher Education Leadership. He is a licensed mental health counselor. Currently, he is a faculty member in the Psychology and Counseling School at Regent University. He has a passion for working with young adults, adults, and couples with a wide range of marital, behavioral and adjustment issues including, relationship conflict, depression, anxiety, addictions, interpersonal issues, spiritual or relational issues, and career issues. Finally, and most importantly, he has been a member of New Life Church for years, he is committed to his faith, devoted to his wife, and is blessed with two children.

James N. Sells, Ph.D.
Dr. James Sells is a professor for the School of Psychology & Counseling at Regent and the Rosemarie S. Hughes Endowed Chair of Christian Thought in Mental Health Practice. He received his B.A. in Social Science and Secondary Education from Biola University, his M.A. in Educational Ministries from Wheaton College, his M.S.Ed. in Counseling from Northern Illinois University, and his Ph.D. in Counseling Psychology from the University of Southern California.
Sells is a licensed psychologist. His major areas of interest are marital and family therapy, supervision/professional identity formation, international applications of counseling and forgiveness/reconciliation. Sells’ work as a counselor and psychologist has specifically focused on individual, couple and family efforts to reconcile the conflicted space that exists within and between persons. His training and career path has made stops in public and Christian secondary education, community mental health, private practice psychotherapy, and higher education in both public and Christian institutions. In his work of teaching, research, therapy and administration. Sells strives to consider the great influences of culture and individual need as he attends to the grand theme of reconciliation and redemption.
